Marketing Lead – Web3 / Crypto / AI

A cutting-edge startup at the intersection of Web3, AI, and cryptography is seeking a Marketing Lead to take ownership of brand positioning, community growth, and overall marketing strategy. This is a high-impact role for a hands-on, strategic marketer who can shape the company’s vision and execute with autonomy.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for translating the company’s complex technical vision into a compelling narrative that resonates with both technical and consumer audiences. The focus will be on refining messaging, driving engagement, and scaling the marketing function from the ground up.

What You’ll Be Doing…

• Execution & Scaling: Drive strategy and execution—this is a hands-on role, not a middle-management position.
• Brand & Positioning: Define and execute a clear brand identity that aligns with the company’s mission.
• User Growth & Engagement: Develop and execute strategies to drive real product adoption, not just traditional Web3 community-building.
• Content Strategy: Develop and manage a robust content program across social, blog, and media channels.
• Product Marketing: Collaborate with leadership to craft compelling messaging for the protocol’s use cases.
• PR & Comms: Oversee external communications, build media relationships, and manage thought leadership opportunities.

• Marketing Leadership: Experience leading marketing for deep-tech startups.
• Storytelling Ability: Proven track record in building narratives that drive engagement and adoption.
• Self-Starter Mentality: Able to operate independently and structure a marketing function from scratch.
• Thrilled about: AI, cryptography, or decentralized infrastructure.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work with leadership, engineers, and designers to refine messaging.
• Consumer Focused: Ability to translate technical concepts into accessible, engaging content for a broader audience.

• Foundation in lifestyle or creative industries
• Professional experience in crypto or AI but not essential
• Strong media network and experience in PR/comms for deep-tech startups.

Compensation & Benefits

• $140K–$180K USD + Tokens
• Remote-first (within ±6 hours CET) with optional relocation to Berlin
