Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist (US)

The Opportunity As a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist, you’ll play a key role in managing regulatory changes, securing new authorisations, and ensuring timely regulatory reporting. Your focus will be on regulations in the US, Canada, the Bahamas, and other jurisdictions in the Americas affecting Money Transmission & Digital Asset businesses.
You’ll also support the business by:
- Developing controls to maintain compliance.
- Ensuring clear, timely regulatory reporting.
- Providing product-specific regulatory advice.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain a regulatory change framework to track, analyse, and report updates.
- Build a library of key regulatory requirements for Money Transmitters & Digital Asset businesses.
- Lead the preparation and approval of applications for federal and state regulatory authorisations.
- Support the development of a governance process to oversee regulatory decisions.
- Advise internal teams—including Accounting, Finance, Legal, Compliance, Engineering, Data, Marketing, and Support—on regulatory requirements.
- Manage licensing maintenance and renewals.
- Assist in regulatory examinations.
- Handle sensitive company and investor documents securely.
- Balance multiple priorities and projects without compromising accuracy.
- Take on additional duties as needed.
